Good little Cuban
Good little Cuban better than most Cuban. Wrapper is a quite rough, but to be expected. Flavor is a mild woody and vegetal with some leather. Aroma is nice and sweet. Experianced no pepper or harshness.
This cigar has a beautiful construction.
This cigar has a beautiful construction. I found the draw to be a bit tight, but still able to get good smoke. The flavor was mild and very smooth. I think the price is a bit steep for this cigar, but all Cohibas tend to be a bit overpriced. It provides a longer smoke than one would think by looking at it. I have about 30 sticks left, so I will be smoking more.
This is an excellent choice for a beginner
I heartily agree that this is an excellent choice for a beginner (me) to sample & compare. The flavor, aroma & burn quality fully complimented the aesthetics of my 1st Belicosos. I plan to age the majority of this box & sample them annually.
The Panetelas is a classic winter smoke
The Panetelas is a classic winter smoke if you have to stay outside and live in a cold place. The Cohiba taste is always among the best. The only "bad" thing about this cigar is that it's kind of pricey....but which Cohiba isn't?
I was a little disappointed.
I smoked a couple of these sticks a couple weeks back. Looking at my notes I was a little disappointed. There is a fruity nature to this cigar, but for cheaper you can have an Eppi #2. HDM just not my thing, although I thoroughly enjoyed the LCDH Eppie Deluxe
